Secchi (pronounced sek-ee) was born out of lived experience, years spent navigating the complexity, frustration, and blind spots of managing large frontline teams. Our founder, Mike White, spent two decades in HR and facility leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies, where the tools to truly understand and engage frontline employees simply didn’t exist.
Disconnected spreadsheets. Surface-level after-the-fact surveys. One-size-fits-all software. Time and again, frontline leaders and employees, where culture is made or broken, were left behind.
In 2022, deep in the heart of Midwest manufacturing and blue collar workforces, Mike and a small team set out to change that. The vision: build a simple, effective system to help leaders better connect with their people and give organizations the clarity they’ve been missing when it comes to frontline performance, engagement, and culture.
Our name, Secchi, is a nod to clarity itself, a reminder that great leadership starts with seeing clearly: who’s doing great work, who needs support, and how leaders lead every day.
