Secchi (pronounced sek-ee) was inspired by the 19th-century scientist Angelo Secchi, who revolutionized how we measure water clarity. Just as the Secchi disk brought clarity to oceans, Secchi the company was founded to bring clarity to workforce performance. Our founder, Mike White, brings 20 years of HR and facility management experience at Fortune 500 companies. Frustrated by the “nightmare” of disconnected spreadsheets and missed opportunities to engage hourly workers, Mike set out to create a better way. In 2021, in the heart of Milwaukee’s manufacturing sector, Secchi was born – combining modern technology with proven leadership practices to guide leaders and engage teams every day. The name Secchi reminds us of our core promise: to give organizations a crystal-clear understanding of their teams so that nothing important goes unnoticed.
